Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power supply which has a stable power supply operation.SOLUTION: As an AC/DC converter for converting AC power supplied from commercial power into DC power, there are provided two types of AC/DC converters: a first AC/DC converter which supplies power to each of external load equipment, a fuel cell and a storage battery; and a second AC/DC converter which supplies power to the external load equipment only. Then, an operating condition of the fuel cell to judge from a current value which is input to the uninterruptible power supply from the fuel cell, and a state of existence or non-existence of power to be supplied from the commercial power to the uninterruptible power supply is grasped, so that the first AC/DC converter and the second AC/DC converter are on/off switch controlled independently, to perform power supply control to the external load equipment and charge and discharge control of the storage battery.
