Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the decay of turf in the transportation of turf for the preparation of removable lawn and to enable repeated use of the removed turf.

CONSTITUTION: This unit container 1a has an opening 105 and is provided with a bottom plate 10a and side walls 14a, 19a, 16a, 17a. The bottom plate 10a has a number of draining holes 13a. Engaging recesses 19, 19 are formed on both sides of the side walls 15a, 17a and a recess 101 is formed between these engaging recesses. An engaging plate 18 is formed under the recess 101. Each of the side walls 14a, 15a, 16a, 17a has engaging holes 103. Vegetation soil is filled in the unit container la and turf is grown on the soil to obtain a turf unit. The turf units are arranged side by side by engaging the engaging recesses 19, 19 with the engaging plate 18 to obtain a lawn structure.
