Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit dosage, aerosol, a kit, and a method for treating a cardiac disease by transpulmonary administration.SOLUTION: A method for treating atrial arrhythmia includes administering an effective dose of at least one antiarrhythmic pharmaceutical agent to a patient who needs it, and the at least one antiarrhythmic pharmaceutical agent passes through pulmonary veins first to enter a heart, and reaches a left atrium. Another method for treating atrial arrhythmia includes administering an effective dose of at least one antiarrhythmic pharmaceutical agent to a patient who needs it by inhalation. An amount of the at least one antiarrhythmic pharmaceutical agent can reach a peak in a coronary sinus of a heart at the point of the range of 10 seconds to 30 seconds from start of administration. A unit dosage, aerosol, and a kit are also taken in consideration.SELECTED DRAWING: None
