Abstract:
To provide a unit for high-temperature uses, in particular for uses above 700°C.SOLUTION: A unit 1 includes a housing 100 and at least one electrical functional element 10. The electrical functional element includes at least one connection wire 14 or at least one connection pad. A first section 11 of the electrical functional element is housed within a housing, and a second section 12 of the electrical functional element is accessible from the outside. The electrical functional element also includes a third section 13 embedded in an electrically insulating material 102 of the housing, between the first section and the second section. In addition, the electrically insulating material seals off the housing from the electrical functional element. The electrically insulating material is selected from glass, glass ceramic, and a combination of a plurality of the materials, or from a composite material having, as its principal constituent, glass or glass ceramic, the insulating material being fused onto the at least one electrical functional element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
