To realize a technique for improving an object detection rate, while reducing incorrect detection.

An image processing unit for detecting an object from a photographed image includes an acquisition means for acquiring photography information at the time of photography; a modification means for modifying the detection condition of the above object by a detection means corresponding to the above photography information; and the detection means for detecting the object from the above feature information by extracting feature information of the object from the photographed image using the above photography condition.
