PURPOSE: To reduce the possibility of picking up noise by unnecessitating the installation of a wire distributing board independent of an I/O unit and unnecessitating a cable connecting the I/O unit to the wire distributing board.
CONSTITUTION: This I/O unit is composed of a rack type I/O unit main body 11 where plural individual modules 1 having plural the insert sides or the sides to be inserted of a plug insert type connection means 3 are arranged, and a wire distributing board main body 5 having the sides to be inserted or the insert sides corresponding to each of plug insert type connection means 3, reclassifying the wiring introduced via this plug insert type connection means 3, having a wiring leading means 4 leading out this classified wiring to a desired connection destination and being supported by the rack type I/O unit main body.
