PURPOSE: To apply the force corresponding to an angle of a brake element of a clutch/brake unit while preventing the rotation of the brake element with single rotation preventing connecting member.

CONSTITUTION: A bolt 50 passing through a groove hole 54 of a brake element 30 is threaded into a screw hole 55 of an engine block as a base body member so as to prevent the rotation of the brake element. For example, three springs 60 are arranged around a rotary actuator 35 with an equal space. Each spring main body is engaged with the rotating actuator. A tongue piece 61 of the spring is passed through a grove hole 63 of a flange 39 of the rotary actuator and a groove hole 64 of the brake element, and a hook part 62 of a lower end of the tongue piece is fitted in a hole 65 formed in the brake element.
