To provide a unitary ink jet print head with a heater arranged between two ink chambers and its production method.
A lower ink chamber is formed on the top surface of a substrate, and a manifold is formed on the bottom surface. An ink chamber is formed by penetrating between the lower ink chamber and the manifold. A nozzle plate is composed of a mass of protection layers and metal layers which were laid one by one on a substrate. An upper ink chamber facing the lower ink chamber is formed on the bottom surface of the metal layer, and a nozzle which is coupled with the upper ink chamber is formed on the top surface of the metal layer. A coupling opening which couples the upper and lower ink chambers is penetrated and formed on the protection layer. And a heater which is positioned between the upper ink chamber and the lower ink chamber and heats the ink inside the ink chamber, and a conductor which applies electric current to the heater are formed between the protection layers.
