To provide a bookrest capable of being used in a various form such as reading of a book or a newspaper in the seating posture or the lying-on-the-back posture and even inexpensive in manufacturing costs.
The constitution of the bookrest comprises as follows: (1) the bookrest includes a rest board provided with fixing holes to be fixed to a stand and fixing groove holes, fitting-in holes to be fit in polyethylene-terephthalate bottle tops, a base provided with through holes to be inserted for the stand and the stand to connect the rest board with the base; (2) the fixing holes are provided on appropriate places of the rest board; (3) the fixing groove holes are provided on both sides of the bottom of the rest board; (4) the fitting-in hole provided on the base has a size of an inside diameter equal to that of an outside diameter of the top, being plurally provided longitudinally and widthways in equal intervals on the base; (5) the through holes provided on the base are plurally provided in an appropriate interval on the center line of the base in a longitudinal direction, and having at least one hole among them with a size of an inside diameter equal to that of an outside diameter of the stand to be inserted through; and (6) the stand is provided with a fixing hole on the front end and formed into a cylindrical rod.
