Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that when the twist rotation of a universal coupler is regulated, the position of a screw hole for fixing a handrail bar is regulated in construction and the screw hole may be located at a position where a construction work is difficult, causing inconvenience, and that, in a case in which the twist rotation is not regulated, the attachment of a screw becomes difficult because it is required to simultaneously hold both of the handrail bar and a rotary member in construction, and the workability is deteriorated.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a universal coupler improved in workability. In the universal coupler, a restraining member made of an elastic body is attached. This enables the twist rotation of the universal coupler, and a machine screw can be driven in the handrail bar while rotating the rotary member in a proper position in construction.
