PURPOSE: To feed oil sufficiently to bearings in the housing of a tripod type universal coupling and enhance the strength of a tripod type member so as to be usable in the field of a rolling mill.

CONSTITUTION: The main shaft 10 of a first member (a tripod type member) and trunnions 8 are integrally formed. Each trunnion 8 is provided with a trunnion oil feed hole 22 formed being opened to the tip of the trunnion 8. The main shaft 10 is provided with three independent main shaft oil feed holes 21 each of which is communicated with each trunnion oil feed hole 22. A roller 9 fitted to the tip of the trunnion 8 is formed into a cup shape.
