Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yoke for universal joint capable of securing rigidity against twisting force, and making rigidity against deflection small.SOLUTION: A yoke 11A for universal joint has a base part 21, and a pair of arm parts 22, 23 extending toward an axial direction from another end in the axial direction of the base part 21. The base part 21 has: a cylindrical part 211 through which a connection hole 215 penetrates in the axial direction, and in which a shaft is inserted into the connection hole 215 from one end part in the axial direction; a pair of fastening plates 213, 214 arranged oppositely so as to hold a slit 24 penetrating through the inner peripheral surface and outer peripheral side surface of the cylindrical part 211, and projecting radially outward from the outer peripheral side surface of the cylindrical part 211; and a concave part formed on a radial outward surface of the base part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
