PURPOSE: To inexpensively manufacture a universal joint and to quickly assemble and disassemble it by providing with joining hinges in which hinge members made from an elastically deformable plastic are engagedly fitted into each other at a 90' angle while spring-elastic deformation takes place.

CONSTITUTION: This universal joint is formed from only two hinge members 1, 2 made from elastic deformable plastic. These hinge members 1, 2 have joining hinges 3 to 10 of the same shape which engage each other at a 90° angle while elastic deformation takes place. By the constitution like this, these two hinge members 1, 2 can be manufactured by the same mold by forming the two hinge members 1, 2 of the same contour made of a plastic such as polyamid provided with a restricted elastic characteristic and easily workable. Then, the two hinge members 1, 2 can be joined each other by snap joining while spring-elastically deforming the joining hinges 3 to 10.
