PURPOSE: To simplify a structure of a metal mold to manufacture a socket, and reduce cost by arranging the socket freely rotatably in the tip part of a universal joint body, constituting the socket in a divided shape of two members, and arranging a sealing means respectively on both inside and outside surfaces of both members.

CONSTITUTION: A universal joint body 11 is inserted in an insertion port on one end of a synthetic resin pipe, and is formed in a cylindrical shape being bent in an elbow shape. In this case, a synthetic resin socket 14 is arranged rotatably freely in the spherical surface shape tip part on an inside surface of the universal joint body 11. The socket 14 is formed of two members 14a and 14b being combined with each other. In a condition where one member 14a is fitted in the groove part 15 of the other member 14b, a recessed part 16 is formed on the outer peripheral surfaces of these. An 0 ring 17 is fitted in the recessed part 16, and watertightness to a tip part inside surface of the universal joint body 11 is held. On the other hand, a sealing rubber band 20 is fitted in the recessed part 21 on the inner peripheral surface side formed of both members 14a and 14b in the socket 14.
