Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a higher control accuracy in comparison to the former method due to the pressure difference of coolant and improve the energy efficiency ratio by using an electromagnetic force-mechanical force converter as a driving source.

CONSTITUTION: The numeral 10 designated a electromagnetic force-mechanical force converter arranged in a head cover 3, and in which electromagnets are used in an example shown in the figure. When the electromagnet 10 is energized, a lift pin is magnetically contacted with the iron core 12, conquerring the resultant force of a lift pin spring 5 and an intake valve spring 6, so the mechanism operates as a driving part which releases an intake valve 2 by pushing down a lift pin 4. Namely, when unloading signal is generated from an outside cont roller, the electromagnet 10 is energized, and an armature 13 is attracted to the iron core 12, so a lift pin pusher 9 shifts in the direction of downward arrow 1, and compulsorily releases the intake valve 2. Thus, the corresponding cylinder of a compressor can be brought into unloading state rapidly.
