Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method for effectively treating spring water and suspended spring water inevitably generated upon unloading of hydrous bulk.SOLUTION: A method for unloading hydrous bulk includes: when the hydrous bulk such as ore and coal is unloaded from a cargo ship using a bridge crane and a grab bucket of an unloader, if suspended spring water while powder is being suspended in the spring water is generated during unloading work, adding a moisture absorbent to the suspended spring water to make the moisture absorbent absorb at least the spring water and converting the spring water to a solid then unloading the absorbent with the bulk.
