An unlocking device for a latch of a swing door includes a swing door arranged in the openable/closable manner to the outside of the front walls with reference to left- and right-front walls of vertical fixed members, a latch-receiver projecting on the front wall of the fixed member and engaged/disengaged with/from a reversal latch in a lock box mounted inside of the swing door; an operation piece internally mounted at a free end of the swing door and provided with an operation part moving fore-and-aft direction via a spindle; and an operating arm provided on the operation piece via a movable shaft to co-operate with the operation piece and unlocking a locking piece for the reversal latch in the lock box. When the door is closed, the reversal latch engaged with the latch-receiver is locked with the locking piece. When the operation piece is pulled, the locking piece is unlocked by displacement of the operating arm abutting on a receiving arm provided to the locking piece.
