Title:
UNMAGNIFIED IMAGE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02143774
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an unmagnification image sensor whose yield is improved by connecting plural photoelectric conversion elements as to one bit of an analog switch. CONSTITUTION:Plural, e.g., three sensors 1 correspond to one analog switch 2. For example, in the case of a resolution of 8 bit/mm (125mum per bit), a 3-bit sensor is provided per on bit. Since a plural-bit sensor 1 is connected to one bit of the analog switch 2, even if any defect (open or short-circuit) exists in an optional bit of the sensor 1, other bits are acted normally. Thus, an unmagnification image sensor whose yield is improved is obtained.
