Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned carrier constituted so that an excess load on a vehicle body is prevented.SOLUTION: An unmanned carrier comprises a vehicle body 1 and a transfer device 2. The vehicle body 1 is grounded by a plurality of drive units 3 and 4 which are rotatable around a rotation axis R. The transfer device 2 is grounded by at least one caster unit 5 which is rotatable around a rotation axis R. Each of the drive units 3 and 4 includes: a first wheel 14; a second wheel 16 which rotates around the same rotation axis as the first wheel 14; a first motor for driving the first wheel 14; and a second motor for driving the second wheel 16. The unmanned carrier comprises: a shift mechanism 9 for linearly moving the transfer device 2 in a horizontal direction Y with respect to the vehicle body 1; and a power transmission mechanism 13 for transmitting power generated by rotation around the rotation axis R of the first drive unit 3 to the shift mechanism 9 in order to actuate the shift mechanism 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
