PURPOSE: To automatically perform the disconnecting of trucks by releasing a connected state between the trucks when a judging means judges that the trucks reach a disconnecting position.
CONSTITUTION: A driving truck 11 and a driven truck 12, and the driven trucks 12 are connected to each other by connecting means 13. A magnetic address card stuck on the road surface 20, etc., are read by a magnetic sensor SE1 to detect the present positions of trucks 10. When it is judged that the detected present positions are disconnecting positions, and the trucks 10 reach specific positions, a controller 22 brings a travelling motor 17 to a stop, and operates a motor 50 of a moving means 23. When it is judged that a roller 52 reaches an ascending position, based on signals from the second detecting sensor, the controller 22 stops the driving of the motor 50. At this time, a connecting pin 35 is moved up to a limit ascending position, and the connecting means 13 reaches a releasing position where a connected state between the trucks 11, 12 is to be released. Thus, the trucks 12 behind the connecting means 13 released from the connected state are disconnected from the truck 11 (and 12) on the front side in the direction of travel.
