The system includes a clothing receiving plate on which to place customers' clothing, etc.; a measuring means for automatically measuring the clothing or the like placed on the clothing receiving plate; a voice input means for inputting the customers' voice that accords with voice guidance; a voice recognition means for recognizing the input customers' voice; an operation panel for displaying the contents of the voice guidance and the results of the voice recognition as characters; a conveying means for conveying, according to the recognition results, the clothing or the like placed on the clothing receiving plate; and a customer database for storing the measurements by the measuring means and information about the customers and clothing or the like recognized by the voice recognition means.
