Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent assuredly the runaway of a work truck due to a malfunction by stopping the travelling of the truck when both travelled distance and turning angle exceed the set value respectively or the distance of shift exceeds the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The 1st controller 13 operates a speed change gear 18 and an electromagnetic brake 19 to stop the travelling of an unmanned work truck when the distance travelled which is integrated by a distance sensor 7 exceeds the allowance error compared with the calculated distance, when an ultrasonic wave sensor 6B is detecting an obstacle even with a distance approximate to the prescribed value and when the displacement of direction detected by an earth magnetic sensor 8 exceeds the allowance error compared with the prescribed value during inversion of direction. The 2nd controller monitors the detecting state of the boundary for copying sensors 5A and 5B, and operates the speed change gear 18 and the brake 19 to stop automatically the travelling of the truck after it travelled a prescribed distance and after both sensors 5A and 5B detect no boundary.
