This unnecessary record deleting device is provided with a means 16 for storing a storage device management record including history information and information indicating storing addresses in a storage device in each data record having the same history information, a means 12 for retrieving the storage device management record, a means 13 for comparing the history information of the retrieved storage device management record with set deleting limit information, and a means 14 for collectively deleting data records stored in the corresponding storing address in the storage device by referring to the information indicating the storing address in the storage device which is included in the storage device management record when the date of the history information of the storage device management record is before the deleting limit of the deleting limit information as the compared result of the comparing means 13.
