Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a high-quality and lightweight unsaturated polyester resin composition, a molding material and a molded article useful as an outer plate, an exterior part, etc., for automobile.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition comprises (a) an unsaturated polyester, (b) a vinyl monomer, (c) a thermoplastic resin, (d) a curing catalyst and (e) a hollow filler having 20μm or smaller number-average particle diameter in the ratio of 10-150 pts.wt. component (e) based on 100 pts.wt. mixture of the components (a), (b) and (c). The resin composition is impregnated into glass fibers to give a molding material and its molded article.
