Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare an unsaturated polyester resin composition useful for laminate molding, etc., having excellent stability with time, shelf life and oxidation resistance, free from lowering of the maximum exothermic temperature in the curing, by compounding the resin with an epoxy resin having diglycidylamino groups.
CONSTITUTION: Preferably 0.05W5 parts by weight of an epoxy resin having N, N-diglycidylamino groups, e.g. N, N, N', N'-tetraglycidyl-diaminodiphenylmethane, etc., is added to 100 parts by weight of an unsaturated polyester resin, preferably prepared from an α,β-unsaturated dibasic acid, e.g. maleic acid, etc., and a dihydric alcohol, e.g. ethylene glycol, etc., and having an acid value of -50.
