Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature rise caused by frictional heat during cutting of an unvulcanized sleeve, to suppress degradation in working efficiency, to suppress deterioration in quality of an unvulcanized rubber belt, and furthermore to suppress deterioration in quality of a lapped V-belt manufactured by using the unvulcanized rubber belt as a raw material.SOLUTION: A rotational mechanism includes a rotary body rotating with a main shaft, and is constituted such that an unvulcanized sleeve is disposed on an outer periphery of the rotary body. A cutting mechanism includes a rotary blade 36 having a rotary blade body 37 on which a blade is disposed on the outer periphery, and cuts the unvulcanized sleeve in a circumferential direction by pressing the rotary blade 36 under rotation against the unvulcanized sleeve rotating with the rotary body, so that unvulcanized rubber belts are formed. On the rotary blade body 37, grooves 51 are formed that extend from a portion on a radial direction inner side beyond the rotary blade body 37 toward a radial direction outer side. A water supply mechanism supplies water to the grooves 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
