To provide an unwinding device for a bead wire for a tire capable of unwinding a wire unwound from a wire reel without causing a habit on the wire.
This unwinding device 1 is constituted in such a way that a wire unwinding means 2 such as the wire reel is rotatably supported on bearings 4a, 4b provided on support frames 3a, 3b through a support shaft 5. A swing arm 8 to which a guide roll 7 provided with a V-shaped guide channel 6 at a tip is rotatably attached is rotatably supported on the support shaft 5, and a brake device 9 applying brake by swing of the swing arm 8 is provided on its side face. A guide roll 11 supported rotatably through a support shaft 10 is arranged between the wire unwinding means 2 and the guide roll 7 at a tip of the support frame 3a on one side of the support frames 3a, 3b. The guide roll 11 is provided with a channel 11a having recessed cross section in which the wire W moves gradually toward the center in the direction of width as shown in the drawing.
