To fight against a lift due to uplift pressure generated in underground structures such as a dry dock and various tanks, with an economical structure.
In an uplift pressure-resistant underground structure, the lift of an underground structure 10 located below a prescribed groundwater level of a ground 1 on which the underground structure 10 such as a dry dock is established is suppressed by means of a structure dead weight resisting against the uplift pressure due to groundwater acting on the underground structure 10, and a part of a bottom slab 11 in the underground structure 10 is formed by a soil material layer 13 obtained by compacting sandy soil, rolling and laminating, or the soil material layer 13 comprising a solidification body obtained by mixing a solidification material, packing and solidifying. This can suppress the lift of the underground structure. Preferably a waterproof sheet 20 is laid on the bottom surface of the bottom slab structure if necessary.
