Abstract:
To improve simultaneously fitting properties and holding properties to the foot of a user by lowering elongation of a yarn for knitting a rising knit texture in a reinforcement part integrally knitted with an extensible part than that of a yarn for knitting a part excluding the rising knit texture.SOLUTION: An upper member 1 is for a shoe which a user wears. The upper member 1 covers the foot of the user, and is a three-dimensionally integrated seamless weft knitted fabric 2. The weft knitted fabric 2 has an extensible part 21 extensible in a prescribed direction, and a reinforcement part 22 for reinforcing the extensible part 21. The reinforcement part 22 is provided with a rising knit texture 5, and a yarn for knitting the rising knit texture 5 has elongation lower than that of a yarn for knitting a part excluding the rising knit texture 5. At least a part of the yarn for knitting the rising knit texture 5 may be arranged obliquely to a foot width direction of the foot of the user in plane view, and the rising knit texture 5 may have a different foot girth direction length of the rising knit texture 5 in accordance with a foot length direction position where the texture is arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
