Abstract:
To provide an uptake in which matte-sticking occurring on the inner wall face of a vertical hole cam be easily removed, maintenance is easy, and operation stopped time of a furnace can be reduced.
In the uptake 10 having the vertical hole for discharging high temperature gas generated in the furnace 20 such as a smelting furnace to the upside of the furnace, a cooling member is arranged on a side wall portion 14A of the vertical hole, and the entire cooling member is composed of a water cooling jacket 17.
