Title:
UPWARD MOVEMENT RESTRICTION STRUCTURE OF SLIDING DOOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3908215
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upward movement restriction structure of a sliding door for the prevention of the illegal removal of the door by raising it.
SOLUTION: The upward movement restriction structure of the sliding door restricts the upward movement of a door body 11 by engaging an engaging part 20 provided on the lower part of the door body 11 with an engaged part 30 provided on a lower rail 16. In the structure, an engaged part 30 is provided with a slit formation member 32 having a slit 31 opening toward a floor surface FL and extending in the open-close direction of the door body 11. The engaging part 20 is provided with a connection part 21 fixed to the door body 11 and going through the slit 31, and with an engagement surface formation member 22 fixed to a part lower than a position where the connection part 21 goes through the slit. It is so structured that the upper surface of the engagement surface formation member 22 comes into surface contact with the slit formation member 32 at its inner surface on a rail side when the door at least at a fully closed position is moved upwardly.
