Abstract:
To obtain steam condensate and steam having a relatively high utility value from low-pressure steam condensate which is generated when consuming low-pressure steam in a purification step and/or a concentration step.SOLUTION: A urea production method includes: a synthesis step; a high-pressure decomposition step; a condensation step; a purification step of obtaining a urea synthesis liquid enhanced in a urea concentration and low-pressure steam condensate by heating a urea synthesis liquid after the high-pressure decomposition step by using a part of low-pressure steam generated in the condensation step as a heat source; a concentration step of obtaining a urea synthesis liquid further enhanced in a urea concentration and low-pressure steam condensate by heating the urea synthesis liquid after the purification step by using another part of the low-pressure steam as a heat source; and a step of generating low low-pressure steam condensate and low low-pressure steam by decompressing at least a part of the low-pressure steam condensate obtained in the purification step and/or the concentration step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
