Abstract:

To provide a method for recycling a urethane resin having improved tensile elongation in a shortened curing time.

In a technology for recycling a decomposition product obtained by chemical decomposition of urethane resin, a recycling reaction time is shortened and tensile elongation of formed recycled urethane resin is improved by carrying out reaction under condition in the excessive hydroxy group in the ratio of an isocyanate group of isocyanate to be reacted to hydroxy group of the decomposition product. Concretely, the ratio NCO/OH of isocyanate group of an isocyanate compound to be reacted to hydroxy is 0.3-0.8.
