PURPOSE: To provide a urine sampling method and its device by which urine is surely sampled while using an easily storable urine sampling container with a small dimension in sampling urine by using a standard type toilet bowl.
CONSTITUTION: A thin and long urine sampling container 96 extending in the horizontal direction is used, and the urine sampling container 96 is moved in a space inside a toilet bowl while supported by a swing arm 94 so that the longitudinal axis of the urine sampling container 96 crosses the vertical center face of the stool at approximately right angles for sampling urine. As the urine sampling container 96 is long in the lateral direction, urine can be received at a high probability even though a urine column deviates laterally, while the urine sampling container 96 can be easily stored in a limited storage place below a toilet seat. By swinging the urine sampling container 96 forward and backward, the container 96 is fitted to a urine column difference between men and women or between individuals, and as a result, sampling of urine can be surely carried out.
