Abstract:

To provide an urn which simplifies funeral of the remains underwater and plays a role of a fishing bank as well further.

An underwater urn 1 includes a container body 12 and a lid 11. The container body 12 includes a housing part 120 for housing the remains in the inside. The lid 11 is bonded to the upper surface of the container body 12 and closes the space of the housing part 120. The lid 11 and the container body 12 are formed so as to have fine holes communicating between outer wall surfaces (upper surface 100, side surface 104 and lower surface 102) and the housing part 120, minerals such as calcium eluted from the remains outwalls to the outside through the fine holes underwater, and a function as the fishing bank is provided. When sinking the underwater urn 1 to the sea, it can be sunk in one direction by inserting a rope to an opening 110 for the rope. Further, the underwater urns 1 are connected to each other by a connecting recess part 122 and the fishing banks in various sizes are formed.
