Title:
URN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003299701
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an urn returnable to soil and raising no disposal problem after use.

The urn is equipped with a main body 1 comprising raw diatomaceous earth and formed into a cylindrical or square-cylindrical container shape and a lid body 2 equipped with a fitting part 3 for covering the upper opening of the main body comprising raw diatomaceous earth and formed into a plate- like shape. Preferably, the main body 1 and the lid body 2 are housed in a box 6 made of paulownia. Raw diatomaceous earth is inferior to strength as compared with baked diatomaceous earth but, since it can be returned to soil, a disposal problem after use is not raised. Since diatomaceous earth is excellent in adsorptivity of moisture and an offensive smell, the offensive smell is not diffused. Since the urn is handled politely, the strength as the urn can be held. Further, if the urn is housed in the box made of paulownia and installed, it is safe even if handled roughly by mistake.
