PURPOSE: To provide a medicinal compsn. that is prepd. by compounding 2β,16β- diamino-3α,17-dihyroxy androstane deriv. or its salt with an assistant, etc., has no undesirable side effects and is used for treating an arrhythmic disorders.
CONSTITUTION: The medicinal compsn. for treating arrhythmic disorders is obtained by refluxing 2α,3α,16α,17α,-diepoxy-17β-acetoxyl-5α-androstan, etc., together with an aq. piperidine soln. in glycol, reducing the formed 17-keto group with sodium borohydroxide, subjecting a 2,3-epoxy ring to ring opening with benzylamine, cleaving the benzine group by hydrogenation to form the 2β,16β-diamino-3α,17-dihyroxy androstane deriv. having the formula (R1 to R4 are each H, a 1 to 6C alkyl, 2 to 8C acyl, R1 and R2 and/or R3 and R4 are each pyrolydinyl, piperidinyl, etc., together with N atom to which both are bonded), compounding this deriv. with the assistant, etc., to obtain preparations.
