Abstract:
To provide a method for collecting stem cells from the dead body of a mammal.
The method for preparing the stem cells is to take out a tissue containing stem cells in a collecting site of the cells to be transplanted in the dead body of a mammal after ≥24 postmortem hours having 4-37°C, especially 4-25°C, body temperature, especially at least one species of stem cells selected from a group comprising mesenchymal stem cells, hematopoietic stem cells, neural stem cells, liver stem cells, muscle stem cells and fat stem cells, separate the stem cells from the tissue and treat the stem cells with an apoptosis inhibitor, especially a caspase inhibitor.
