Abstract:

To obtain a composition from a pressurized fluid and a reducing agent and/or an oxidizing agent for treatment of keratin fibers.

This invention relates to the composition obtained by a process comprising a step in which fluid is percolated under a pressure of at least 3X105 Pa (3 bar) through at least one reducing agent, and/or at least one oxidizing agent in solid or pasty form, for the treatment of keratin fibers. The invention relates to the use of the composition for bleaching keratin fibers. The invention also relates to the use of a steam composition for the permanent wave treatment of keratin fibers. A composition capable of changing concentrations of the reducing agent and the oxidizing agent of the composition, if necessary, is obtained in a very short time by percolating the fluid through the reducing agent and/or oxidizing agent, and a problem of the solubility of a preservative is solved without using the preservative.
