Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desquamating agent having effectiveness at least equivalent to a compound prepared by a conventional technology but having no defect thereof.
SOLUTION: The desquamating agent is a new compound derived from a (dihydro)jasmonic acid derivative. The agent eliminates the defects of compounds prepared by the conventional technologies; can promote skin desquamation and/or can accelerate the regeneration of epidermis; and is usable without causing the unpleasant feelings such as tingle, stiffness or pricking nor causing red spots.
