Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide preparations for treating rheumatoid arthritis.SOLUTION: Provided is a medicament for treating rheumatoid arthritis comprising an anti-IL-antibody and a TNFa antagonist. The anti-IL-20 antibody is preferably mAb7E, or a functional equivalent of mAb7E comprising a heavy chain variable region (VH) with at least 70% identity with that of mAb7E and a light chain variable region (VL) with at least 70% identity with that of mAb7E. The TNFa antagonist is preferably selected from Etanercept polypeptide, Infliximab and Adalimumab. Also provided is a medicament where the anti-IL-20 antibody is a humanized antibody of mAb7E.SELECTED DRAWING: None
