Abstract:

To provide means and methods for ameliorating the stimulation of endothelial precursor cells and particularly for treating disorders associated with the dysfunctions of endothelial precursor cells, and to provide means and methods for protecting and regenerating various tissues.

The treatments of diseases associated with the stimulations of the physiological mobilization, proliferation and differentiation, the stimulation of vasculogenesis and the dysfunctions of endothelial precursor cells, are provided. The uses of low-dose erythropoietin for preparing a pharmaceutical composition for treating such diseases, and such a pharmaceutical composition including: erythropoietin and other appropriate active ingredient(s) for stimulating endothelial precursor cells, are also provided.
