Abstract:
To provide a medicament for patients with an extracorporeal blood circuit, for example, patients undergoing hemodialysis, which can effectively and safely prevent formation of blood clotting without increasing a risk of hemorrhage.
The medicament prevents formation of blood clotting in patients with an extracorporeal blood circuit, and is suitable for intravenous administration and anticoagulant coating; the medicament includes a synthetic oligosaccharide containing uronic acid, glucopyranoside, etc., as its skeleton, and is a selective inhibitor of factor Xa, acting via antithrombin III.
