Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition that can retain the fixation and/or release of perfume by combining an organopolysiloxane under specific conditions with a fat phase containing perfume.
SOLUTION: A partially crosslinked solid and elastic organopolysiloxane is incorporated together with a fat phase into a perfume-containing composition. This organopolysiloxane is prepared by adding (a) an organopolysiloxane bearing at least two lower alkenyl groups each molecule and (b) an organopolysiloxane bearing at least two H atoms each molecule in the presence of a catalyst and curing them. This composition contains 1-50wt.% of organopolysiloxane, 0.001-50wt.% of perfume, 10-80wt.% of fat phase and is prepared in a gel form whereby a perfume preparation that can prevent skin from drying, gives excellent cosmetic properties, retains perfume to maintain desirable olfactory effect.
