To use soybean curd refuse which is generated as a byproduct in a large amount on the production of soybean curd as a deodorant, feeds for raising fish and animals or a raw material of foods for human by the fermentation, decomposition and concentration of soybean curd filtrate and soybean curd refuse, and the addition of other components.
A mixture of soybean curd filtrate and soybean curd refuse is fermented with Bacillus subtilis, and the fermentation product, which is condensed by heat-generation of fermentation, is filtered to obtain a solid material and a filtrate. Subsequently, the filtrate is mixed with a solution of soluble sea weeds, and an antiseptic is added to the resultant mixture solution, which is disinfected by heating, to obtain a solution A. Further, the above solid material of the soybean curd refuse is baked together with bamboo powder or tea powder, and a distillate and carbonized material are collected. The distillate is purified by fractional distillation to obtain a solution B. Subsequently, a small amount of the solution B is added to the solution A, and further a part of the filtrate and the carbonized material are added to obtain a deodorant. Furthermore, a soybean curd filtrate and soybean curd refuse are fermented, decomposed and concentrated, and to the obtained residue, Triumfetta japonica Makino, a sea weed, a dried vegetable, royal jelly, pollen, a seasoning, a flavor, etc., are added to produce a feed for raising fish or animals or a material for a food for human.
