Title:
USE OF REACTOR WITH ARCHIMEDES SCREW TYPE STIRRER IN SYNTHESIS OF LSX FAUJASITE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3244650
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably shorten the total time of an industrial producing process by stirring stock gel with an Archimedes screw type strirrer during the aging and crystallization of the gel when LSX type faujasite is produced.
SOLUTION: When LSX type faujasite is produced by aging and crystallizing gel having such molar ratios as 0.7≤Na2O/(Na2O+K2O)≤0.8, 91≤H2O/Al2 O3≤130, 1.8≤SiO2/Al2O3≤2.2 and 5.5≤(Na2O+K2O)/Al2O3≤8, the gel in a tank is stirred with an Archimedes screw type stirrer during the aging and crystallization so that ≤25/sec average shear is applied to the gel. The gel is preferably aged at 30-60°C for 10-40hr and is preferably crystalized at 50-100°C for 1-5hr.
