PURPOSE: To obtain composition having superior petroleum-resistance, resistance to thermal deformation and knotched impact strength by mixing the thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate and/or polyestercarbonate with a specified graft polymer.
CONSTITUTION: The graft polymer (B) is obtained by emulsively and graftingly polymerizing (a) 40-90 wt.% of particulate dien rubber at least partially cross- linked and having an average particle size of 0.05-2.0 μm with (b) 60-10 wt.% of styrene, acrylonitrile, methyl-methacrylate or a mixture of these, in the presence of a polymerization initiating system consisting of organic hydroperoxides and ascorbic acid so that a yield by the grafted rate of the component (b) comes to 60 wt.% or more. Then, 96-50 wt.% of the thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate and/or polyestercarbonate having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000-200,000 is blended with 4-50 wt.% of the component (B), and then mixed or extruded at a temperature of 200-330°C.
