Title:
USE OF THERMAL SHOCK PROBE AND ITS APPLICATION TO CHEMICAL HEAT PUMP CONTROL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01107845
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control a chemical reaction between a porous mixture and gas by a response treatment of a thermocouple accompanying the change in heat transfer by using a thermal shock probe combined with the thermo-couple and a resistance heating element within solid-gas reactors.

CONSTITUTION: The chemical reaction between the porous mixture and the gas is controlled by using the thermal shock probe 6 combined with the thermocouple 63 and the heating element 61 within the solid-gas reactors 1, 2 and processing the response of the thermocouple 63 by the change in the heat transfer. Namely, when the probe 6 is energized from a power generating element 7, the probe creates the heat transfer necessary for measurement. This power generating element 7 generates either of electric current or pulse. The output signal of the thermocouple 63 arranged in the reactor 1 is transmitted through electric wires 80, 81 to a signal processing circuit 8 and the output signal of the thermocouple 63 in the reactor 2 is transmitted through electric wires 82, 83 to the circuit 8. The control of first solenoid valves 11, 10 is executed by using this circuit 8, by which the heat generation step and regeneration step are selectively stopped or the operation cycles of the reactors are reversed.
