Abstract:
PURPOSE:To completely prevent the users excepting for the owner of a terminal equipment from using a user limiting program by storing the control information in a memory card to show whether the user limiting program is already registered on a terminal or not. CONSTITUTION:When a user limiting program is used, a registered memory card is put into the memory card interface part of a terminal equipment. While a program name is supplied from a key input device 3. An information read command is delivered to a memory card interface 8 to check whether its own program is already registered or not. Then the registered flag received from the memory card is checked and then coincidence with its own program is checked together with the program name and the program revision as long as said flag is registered. Then the main part of the program is carried out as long as the memory card is correctly registered. While it is decided that the program is not registered yet if the registered flag is not registered yet or no coincidence is obtained with the program name, etc. Thus a message is displayed to show that the execution of the program is impossible.
