PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it requires time and effort to obtain a result desired by a user in touch panel operation which has only a function of detecting XY-coordinates of a touch position.SOLUTION: A control unit of a user interface apparatus determines a touch operation, on the basis of coordinate detection information output from a coordinate detection unit detecting coordinates of a touch position of a touch panel touched by a pointing medium. The control unit determines pressing operation, on the basis of pressure-sensing detection information output from a pressure-sensing detection unit detecting pressing operation on the basis of a sensor value which changes in accordance with a pressing force applied to the touch panel by the pointing medium. The control unit outputs control information for changing a display mode of an object, to a display control unit, on the basis of gesture operation formed by combining the touch operation and the pressing operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
